Peoples’ Forum on Human Rights and Business – Collective Strategies towards Binding Regulation and Effective Remedy 5-7 November 2013, Bangkok, Thailand

The 2013 Peoples’ Forum is a global gathering of the corporate accountability movement, taking place on 5-7 November in Bangkok. It is jointly organised by the International Network for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ESCR-Net) and the Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA).

The Peoples’ Forum brings together affected communities, social movements and civil society groups from different regions, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. It aims to develop collective strategies for the corporate accountability movement in order to address corporate human rights abuses and enhance peer-to –peer capacity and solidarity amongst affected communities, social movements and civil society groups across the globe.
