Asian NGOs Network for National Human Rights Institutions (ANNI) has released its report for the year 2009. It focuses on the member selection and appointment of national human rights institutions (NHRIs) in Asia and their work in receiving and investigating complaints filed by victims of human rights violations. The 2009 ANNI Report also includes national reports from NGOs engaged in the process of establishing NHRIs where such institutions are inexistent.
