On 24 August 2015, FORUM-ASIA and its Mongolian members Center for Human Rights and Development (CHRD) and Globe International (GI) met with the Mongolian press to discuss about the UN human rights mechanisms and Mongolia’s candidature to the UN Human Rights Council. Human rights situations of Bangladesh, Burma and Pakistan were also shared with the media, highlighting the potential role that Mongolia could play as Asian human rights champion.
