Public Lecture by Mr. Michel Forst, UN SR on HRDs, in Bangkok, Thailand

On 27 May 2017, FORUM-ASIA together with the Asia Centre, organised a public lecture by Michel Forst, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders, entitled ‘The Future of Global Human Rights Discourse: Trends & Challenges’. The lecture analysed the contemporary human rights challenges linked to his mandate, and it was opened to students, journalists, academics, civil society, and public at large.
