Venue: Room IX, Palais des Nations, Geneva

The Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA), Franciscans International, Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect, Human Rights Watch, and International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) are organising a side event linked to the extrajudicial killings in The Philippines. This event will be an important opportunity to deliver the report of human rights defenders’ perspectives from the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions in the country. This side event also calls on The Philippines to take immediate steps to end extrajudicial killings in the country and to fulfil its commitments and obligations as a member of the UN Human Rights Council.
