From 1 October to 31 October 2017, FORUM-ASIA documented 18 Cases of harassment against (W)HRDs including NGO in 9 Asian countries. Most of the harassment are related to right to freedom of expression while the common types of harassment are arbitrary arrest & detention and judicial harassment. Two cases of killing (Pakistan and the Philippines) and enforced disappearances (China and Pakistan) also encoded in this period. For more details, visit Asian Human Rights Defenders Portal.
