On 7-8 November 2017, the third annual Southeast Asia Freedom of Religion or Belief Conference was held in Manila, the Philippines. The aim was to provide a platform where representatives from civil society, religious groups and key policymakers can have greater understanding of the right to freedom of religion or belief, available tools for advocacy, and the opportunity to engage with relevant protection mechanism.
