WOREC, our member from Nepal, in partnership with UNFPA, organised 3-days province-level case management training for the Gender-based violence (GBV) service providers.
The training, which was conducted on 18th, 19th and 20th July, aimed to support GBV service providers in improving their understanding of and capacity in case management for survivors of GBV using the survivor-centred approach. The participants benefited from the discussion on various case management and survivor-centred approaches. The training also provided participants with the platform to share their experience working at the grassroot level.
A total of 50 participants (45 females and 5 males) from province 2, who are actively involved in GBV case management works through various sectors including OCMC, CMC, NGO/INGOs, safe house, GBV Prevention Network and police department, attended the training.
