FORUM-ASIA, in collaboration with the Solidarity
for Asian Peoples Advocacy Task Force on ASEAN and Human Rights, will hold a
workshop entitled "Regional consultation on the Rules of Procedure of
ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR)". It will be
held from 25 to 26 February 2010 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Established in October 2009, the commission is now creating the Rules of
Procedure (RoP) to define procedure of its mandates. Because these rules will
affect the work of the commission, the participants of this workshop will
develop common positions to advocate for effective RoP.
