Call for Proposals: Terms of Reference for Design and Website Development

FORUM-ASIA is looking for a design and website development consultant/firm to revamp its WordPress-hosted website as part of its organisational rebranding exercise to mark its 30th anniversary this year. With the new core values introduced in 2020, and a new strategic plan that will be launched this year, FORUM-ASIA envisions a website that is responsive, visually appealing, user friendly, and able to reflect the organisation’s new identity and branding.

The consultant/firm will develop a design concept and identify/develop a new WordPress theme that reflects FORUM-ASIA’s branding guidelines and website information architecture, and support the transfer of knowledge including all source code and visual elements for FORUM-ASIA to perform content upload, system maintenance and administration.

Finance Officer Job Announcement (Temporary Position)

The Finance Programme of oversees the financial resources of FORUM-ASIA and is in charge of the planning, organising, financial reporting to donors, auditing and accounting of FORUM-ASIA’s finances. The Finance officer will be working under the guidance and supervision of the Finance Manager with the following tasks and deliverables:

Environmental Adviser/Consultant

FORUM-ASIA is looking for an Environmental Adviser/Consultant. As part of a donor evaluation exercise, FORUM-ASIA is looking to update and operationalise FORUM-ASIA’s Environmental Impact Policy (EIP). And environmental mainstreaming in policy and activities, using the framework of environmental rights through the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).

FORUM-ASIA seeks to contribute to the environmental rights discourse as climate change inevitably affects the organisation’s human rights and sustainable development research, capacity building and advocacy.


  • To update and operationalize FORUM-ASIA’s Environmental Impact Policy (EIP);
  • Identifying the capacity-building needs of the Secretariat on environmental rights issues; and
  • Undertaking an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to identify risks, opportunities, and vulnerabilities in line with the development of FORUM-ASIA’s next strategy.

Consultants Open Call – Fundraising/Resource Mobilisation (Roster)

FORUM-ASIA is looking for experienced Fundraising Consultants to conceptualise and develop competitive donor proposals. Consultants will contribute to diversifying the donor base and increasing the financial sustainability of the Organisation.

Selected candidates will be working with FORUM-ASIA’s Resource Mobilisation Unit and in consultation with FORUM-ASIA staff and senior management team (SMT), members and potential partners. They will coordinate the development of proposals in a consultative manner and in accordance with internal Resource Mobilisation Process Guidelines.

The ideal candidates will have relevant experience and skills in project conceptualisation, design and drafting; organisational budgeting; logical framework and; results-based management. Extensive experience working in the human rights nonprofit sector is essential.

FORUM-ASIA is looking for creative freelance Copy Editors (English), Videographers and Video Editors, Animators, Graphic Designers and Interpreters (Thai/English, Nepali/English) to produce high quality and visualised materials to expand the organisation’s  outreach, both off line and online.

General qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as communication, graphic design, journalism, social science.
  • Practical experiences in creating audience-engaging communication materials
  • Working proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Fluency in an Asian language is highly desirable
  • Professional affiliations and licenses an asset
  • Formal training on communication an asset
  • For interpreters – Ability to interpret from English to Thai/Nepali and vice versa
